Jackie began working in the field of medicine as a medical secretary too many years ago for her to admit to. Later on she teamed up with a colleague to form KMS Professionals where she worked as a co-director until 2018. The business was very successful; it started with just the two of them and six consultants and by the time she left there were around 40 staff, 8 remote typists and over 80 consultants!! Jackie has always done medicolegal admin and proof reading, and continues to do this for Kent Medicolegal Services but in a much more part-time roles. In her “spare” time she enjoys looking after her grandchildren, travelling, walking and playing tennis.

I joined the admin team at Kent Medicolegal Services about a year ago having previously worked for over 32 years in an NHS Trust as a senior medical secretary/supervisor. My job role as a medical secretary was primarily in general surgery, urology and orthopaedics alongside a supervisory role, managing a team of departmental secretaries.
I have always enjoyed outdoor activities and still enjoy walking and cycling on a regular basis. I have 4 grandchildren, all of whom live nearby, which keeps me on my toes.
